** The Pearstone cable has a spiral, copper grounding shield - says so the "overview".
It also states the purpose of the conductive PVC shielding is to reduce electrostatic ( ie handling ) noise.
How effective is the conductive PVC shield?
** Very effective at the stated purpose.
