He produced a jingle session that I played in the 80s, and I asked him
about it. He said that he didn't even bring a distortion pedal to the
gig because he KNEW that he wouldn't need it. He was a very nice guy.


Another notable passing was Pete Quaife, original bassist for the Kinks.
