They all say that when reflashing EEPROMs. 95% of the time there is nothing
to worry about, they just don't want to accept responsibility for the other
times :-)
Companies that actually care use two now, with a method to restore from the
backup if something goes wrong. Common in the better motherboards now at
least. Not so much anywhere else yet :-(
