What makes you think one cable is that much different from another ? There are
some interesting differences in construction and that affect flexibilty for
example but I suspect that's probably not what you're thinking of. You can also
get some elaborate shields but you're going to fine with something 'standard'
I'm sure.

You've already been advised that one of the most important issues is the
*connector*. Most pros like Neutrik.

Many pros here use Markertek to supply their cables. In the UK I'd advise VDC.
These are companies that specialise in supplying the needs of pros and you don't

have to pay a boutique price either.
