Default Yamaha DG Stomp guitar preamp -MIDI transfer, help needed

Hi everybody,

I have just purchased a new Yamaha DG Stomp guitar preamp/direct

processor.
On Yamaha's home page they have already posted a lot of good stuff

for DG
Stomp users.
For those who interested:
http://www.yamaha.co.jp/english/prod.../dg_stomp.html

I downloaded yesterday from the web some new patches in MIDI format

for DG
Stomp created for Yamaha by professional guitarists in Europe and the

US.

These new patches are in MIDI format. I read manual and there is no

single
word about how to transfer these patches to the DG Stomp using

computer and
Yamaha didn't supplied any software along with the unit like POD or
J-Station did.

The manual says about some stand along Yamaha MIDI hardware device

that can
be used to dump MIDI data bundle to the DG Stomp but for everybody it

would
be much easier just to hook Stomp to computer and transfer them into

the
unit. Because Yamaha did not provide any software I wonder if I can

use any
MIDI sequencer like Cubase or Cakewalk to open the midi file and send

it to
the Stomp. If yes, in Cubase I would just press play button and midi
information would go to the unit? I am really confused. With POD I

have no
problem, with the unit came software on CD-ROM that I installed onto

my
computer and exchanging sounds patches is very easy. Do you know how

to
handle it with DG Stomp?

I really appreciate for any input and advise.

Hello, i think that you can do it by buying a midi device such those in
the above link
http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/...D%253D,00.html

Now i would like you to help me.I 've lost the patch list and the link
that you 've got in your message is dead.Could you send me the patch
list or upload it somewhere?
Thanks a lot.
