A pal of mine sold 170 of his CDs
at one recent concert where he was opening for a name act & he
routinely sells dozens of CDs at his smaller gigs.

That's a great way to sell CDs. It has always shocked me however that a fan
will buy a $25 Tshirt and sometimes not buy the $15 CD.
