I no longer need my Akai DR16. But I am very fond of the Akai DR4D's
ability to do seamless looping of recorded material.
So, I will trade my entire DR16 set-up for a Akai DR4 (provided all shipping
is paid for my the person getting the DR16 and the DR4 is in perfect working
condition. I do not care about cosmetic condition, as long as function is
not compromised.
If you know what these machines are, this is a very good deal for someone
looking to upgrade and expand capabilities of a recording set-up.

(externals are Seagate Barracuda) and SuperView - Monitor included - at
super bargain basement price (for pickup in new York City only).18-bit 64x
oversampling ADC and 20 bit 8X oversampling DAC. This thing actually sounds
good. See, for instance,

Itıs in very good condition. Was the multi-track on this 2002 release:

The price? $450 FOR EVERYTHING + shipping. New York City pickup very much
preferred on this item since shipping will be somewhat cumbersome, I think.
