Sorry to disagree wth you but I've had my C-9 unit since 1988 and once you get
your speakers set up properly according to instructions it works fairly well.
I can definitely tell a difference between the unit being on and then off. My
problem is that my room isn't perfect to get full benefit of the unit. But I
can say that it definitely adds a sense of 3D to the music.
