Default Hi-fi, High-end and Multi-channel reproduction

But back to Bruce's point, anybody holding out that two-channel is somehow
more "natural" is simply rationalizing. Multichannel is simply more
effective at reproducing music in a home listening environment.

As painful as it is to agree with Harry I fully agree and when listening in
"enjoy" mode (as opposed to "evaluate" mode), have been listening nearly
exclusively through some type of Lexicon processor (CP-3, CP-3+, DC-1, MC-1 and
MC-12) because it enlargens the sweet spot area, allows listener movement
during playback without loss of a stable image and radically improves
envelopment with fixed place sources such as live acoustical recordings. With
progams that have moving sounds tracking and directionality is also radically
improved.
