I've never tried it with a Digidesign product, but the general
procedure is to open the Windows Control Panel, select Sounds and Audio
Devices window, then select the Audio tab. What you need to do in order
to make the 002 work for general Windows audio playback is to select it
as the Default device for audio playback. If the 002 doesn't show up in
that pulldown menu, it means that it doesn't have general Windows (MME
or WDM) drivers installed. If that's the case, either you can't use it
at all for programs that look for the Windows default audio device or
someone who knows the 002 will have to tell you how to install the
drivers that you need.
