As a learning project, I've been experimenting with the jfet preamp from Tapeop issue 37 (
https://web.archive.org/web/20170831...-jfet-mic-pre/) using this transformer and can, and it sounds good to me. Maybe a little lacking in the bottom-end, but I'm still experimenting/debugging.
