Default Do we need science in subjective audio "reviewing"?

Hardly a strawman, and examples are trivially
easy to find.

Check out reviews on Stereophile's website: consider
Tara Labs "The Zero Interconnect" at a mere $14,900
a pair for 1 meter lengths. Now, that's not EXACTLY
$3000/ft, but at $2257/ft, that's well in the ballpark.

The manufacturers description is a collection of
techno buzzwords, irrelevant, vague and undefined
terms "MIL spec precision, for example), and wild,
glowin claims, e.g., "remarkably more open, airy
and ;lifelike..."

That's just one of MANY examples that are VERY easy
to find.
