Body builders are hardly athletes.
On the other hand, recumbent riders do not shave anything.
Recumbent riders are the iconoclasts of cycling; one would expect
nothing less from them than to be bolshie on every point on which
roadies agree, including leg-shaving.
Why are two grown men discussing other grown men shaving their legs?
