Yes, I'm quite new to recording.

The point I would emphasise is to listen carefully WHILE recording, or
at least immediately afterwards, if you're not set up for monitoring.
"Fix in the mix" is only for emergency use - try to get it right in
the first place.
We all break this rule, of course :-)
and if she's really excessively sibilant, you're gonna have a problem.
