and if you want to use a 9-pin dot matrix printer from 1992 there had
best be some native linux drivers for it or heads are gonna roll.
Anything less is simply unacceptable. g

Linux would probably be the OS most likely to actually still have that
driver buried somewhere. Heck, there is a driver for Hercules mono
graphics in there somewhere. This is technology that's old enough to
vote! Don't anybody say that new versions of Linux forces you to
obsolete hardware!
