How do you inspect a stylus on a phono cartridge is in good shape?
I guess I can use some kind of magnifying glass, right?
Yes.
How good the resolution of the magnifying glass should be to adequately
tell the usage/life left for a stylus? What kinds of tool do you use?
Please ignore the ill-mannered , ignorant and rude response you will
get on this n.g, we have gotten used to this type of response to
queries hereabouts, . BTW, in answer to your question, in the days
when I used the black disk media I used a straight forward jeweller's
eypiece for inspecting both the condition of a stylus, and track
conditionon the disk.
Kind regards
