There was recently some discussion here about the line level inputs on
the small Behringer mixers, specifically the 802, and whether they use
the mic preamps or bypass them completely. I haven't been able to find
an answer to this. Anyone know for sure how they route the signal?

Thanks.

Hey George, I thought that you were going to lose that Behringer now
that you've gotten the RNP. If you run the RNP signal through it on the way
to your recorder, you're gonna screw up the signal.

G Yeah, I guess you're right Steve. I was just thinking it might
make routing the signal a little more flexable by leaving the RNP
connected to the 802. I know someone suggested using a line mixer for
this and I was wondering if the 802 line inputs would do the same
thing. No big thing, I'll go direct with the RNP. I might be getting a
small acoustic amp so maybe the 802 will be useful with that.

Thanks.
