Not trying to be snarky towards you but if you don't understand what
the other poster was talking about concerning (temporarily) lifting
the house wiring ground, you probably know just enough to get into
trouble fire and/or injury/death wise.
Also, you don't seem to know exactly what you danmaged or whether you
got it all put back together correctly, so you don't know whether
you've introduced another variable or not.
Find a good shop to resolve the situation and then enjoy the music in
good health.
