I acquired what I thought was the RCA "Radiotron Designer's Handbook" and
found the title page to be slightly different being "Radio Designer's
Handbook". It is quite comprehensive at 1482 pages long. And originated
from Australia. Comparing the pages of this book to one selling on eBay
shows no difference.
I put up pictures of the title page on the below link.

Would this be the same book at the coveted RCA "Radiotron Designer's
Handbook" but perhaps printed for distribution other than Australia?

yes it is, RCA reprinted the original Australian Wireless Pty in the
US. IIRC there is a statement to that fact somewhere at the beginning
of the book.
I have two copies of the original ozzie version, one in a green cover
the other brown, I also have a red brick version as well.
FWIW the 3rd edition is well worth getting your hands on, for amps
and stuff it covers the basics very well, it is also considerably
smaller. [and lighter!!!]

It's the UK edition. Identical in every way to the Australian original.
RCA published the US edition - again, identical to the original.
