Not exactly a technical term of audio, but what does "exploito" mean when
describing popular music? Remakes of other people's recent hits?

And what about "exploito psych"?

Sounds like, whatever it is, you don't want to be called it and probably

It's used in listings of used records and CDs to describe certain albums and
bands. As best I can tell, it means cover performances by minor bands of
songs that are currently hits. I know it sounds like something much worse,
so I thought I'd check!
