My friend told me that to replce a capacitor in my old Sansui TU-717, I
should look for capacitor parts that are in military grade. The problem is:
where can I find it? I don't think local Radio Shack carry this kind of
capacitor!

Among other places, you ought to be able to get such parts through
regular sources like Mouser or Digi-Key; often the published specs will
indicate which particular Mil standards the parts meet. But the Mil
specs often encompass things like resistance to vibration and moisture,
and in order to meet those specs, you might end up with a part that
doesn't SOUND particularly good because it's built with steel leads or
something of the sort.
