The problem with the reissue of the 8B is that the used prices are usually
higher than what you could buy a 'real' 8B for. The reissue never garnered
much favor in the audiophile community and VAC was forced to take all of
their unsold 8B chassis that they had bought and build an amp under the VAC
label on them.
